Build Your Solar Heater at Home

Solar heating is a great use of solar energy for central heating and water-heating using solar heaters. Solar heating can be divided into two different designs; active solar and passive solar. Solar heater is one of the most useful sources for heating. It is a fact that we cannot survive without sunlight. Solar heaters can easily store the energy of the sun and heat the water.

Solar heater can be easily made in a home by DIY people. There are three simple and easy steps for building a solar heater at home. First, build a glass-covered wood to seize the sun’s heat. Second, install a manifold of copper water pipes inside the collector box, which collects warmth water. Third, hook the outlets from the manifold to a storage tank (this storage tank should be set above the heat collector). The thermo siphon principle will move water from the heat collector to the storage tank. In the case of the solar heaters, we literally collect the solar energy.

There are two major types of solar heaters for modern use of solar energy. The types of solar heaters are flat plate collectors and concentrating collectors. The concentrating collectors are better than motionless units. Panels of these collectors can be easily moved to follow the sun. The solar heaters are eco-friendly and more durable and efficient in use. Solar water heaters are not much expensive. One can also build swimming pool solar heater in his home and can save a good amount of money. The solar heaters that heat up the home in the modern era can mean a future of elite solar power.
