Welcome to the 24/7 Under Construction Desert

As I left the airport and get in the new Toyota Fortuner owned by my elder brother Adeel Butt, working in a South Korean company, Bolim Construction Company, I was just surprised after a couple of miles that construction is on the move around me at approximately 4 am – Yes, I'm talking about Dubai where "impossible" is synonym to NOTHING!

Dubai is the holy land for the builders, engineers, architectures and now for me too! The only thing I'd never like is the moisturized hot climate and the early closing of malls. I just feel unable to breathe outdoor before the evening start. However, its fun to hang out and enjoy the desert safari, beech and mega structures as it is my first ever experience abroad.

This is the land that is being under construction at any given moment. I have lots of fun, exposure and experience in only three days and still a long time to go. I just got the glimpse of the modern lifestyle and hopefully my observational power will get me into the depth to learn about the modernized world. One thing just amazed me of this fastest growing desert is the slowly growing internet speed :(. In Pakistan, I was on the internet highway with the minimum of 3.1mbps of WiFi connection but here in Dubai my expensive 7mbps WiFi connection by Etisalat just annoying me.

Well, this is the land where you can meet people from all over the world, find hi-tech buildings, enjoy desert safari, dine in dhow cruise, ski in the huge artificial enclosure with - 3 degree and many many more stuff apart from the mega structures.

So, I must say to myself, Welcome aboard Usman!
